Deliver Us From Evil: Strong documentary juxtapose includes interviews with Dad Oliver O’Grady a pedophile whom leaders of the Catholic temple persistently guarded with first-individual story and some of big sufferers. Well-timed film abandons narration; as an alternative, its interviewees color a flashy image of corruption in a temple that looked the other way when O’Grady was moved to few variant parishes, where he proceeded carrying out his dishonest acts. Intriguing and expertly made, however perplexing to watch (101 minutes, 2006)
Quantum of Solace: This is the latest next great Bond adventure. As usual Bond is fighting an evil force. This time it’s the sinister Dominic Green and his powerful organization that Bond must bring down.
Rollerball: Careless Klein follows his high school football teammate (LL Cool J) to a Middle Eastern nation to play roller ball. The film only comes to life near the end with some good songs, containing one by Spade Cooley. Cast includes Chris Klein, Jean Reno, LL Cool J, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, Naveen Andrews, Oleg Taktarov, David Hemblen, and Paul Heyman. (98 minutes, 2002)
Hold On: Can NASA name a spaceship after Herman’s Loners? That’s the flaming query in this terrible lyrical, set when the group is on a U.S. journey. One of their melodies is titled “A Should to Stay away from,” which totals up this loser. Cast includes Peter Non, Herman’s Homebodies, Sue Langdon, Karl Green, and Shelley Fabares. Nightmare on Elm Street Part Two: Continuation of first film’s tale (set 5 years later) has an adolescent boy plagued by fantasies of the demonic Freddy, who is motive on taking over both his mind and body so he might murder all the town’s adolescents. Hideous visual affects over power this horror film. Cast includes Mark Patton, Kim Myers, Robert Rusler, Hope Lange, Marshall Bell, Sydney Walsh, and Robert Englund. (84 minutes, 1985)
The Strange Door: Laughton camps it up in this bulky-handed, apparent adaptation of a Robert Louis Stevenson tale of a sadistic squire and his nefarious plans. Karloff has a thankless role as a servant identified Voltan. Cast Charles Laughton, Boris Karloff, Sally Forrest, Richard Stapley, Michael Pate, Alan Napier, and Paul Cavanagh. (81 minutes, 1951)
